Our Philosophy

At The Hissy Fix, we believe reptiles can be as much of a pet as any other animal. We carry products that we personally use. We will not sell anything that we wouldn't use in our own collection. Unlike other reptile stores, our reptile supplies have been used by us and tested to ensure you get what you pay for. Shop online or in our store. Come see our collection of ball pythons!

Our Products

We carry a wide range of products to meet all of your reptile needs. Substrate, thermostats, frozen rodents, heat tape, and many other products. If we don't have it, we can probably get it! Come by and see our selection of reptile supplies.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, we offer payment plans varying from 30 to 90 days. We require 25% down, and the length of the plan will depend on the amount of the animal or goods.

What types of substrate do you sell?

We sell a variety of substrates. Sanichips, aspen and coconut chips.

Can I bring my reptile to the store?

We would prefer you do not bring your pets into the building. We are constantly getting new animals in, and some of these new additions may have unknown ailments. We do not want your scaly friend catching anything from quarantined animals.

What is your policy on returns?

Live animals will only be accepted as a return if there was a issue with the gender purchased. For example, you purchased a female, but received a male. This will have to be done within 14 days, with a receipt. There are no returns on prey items, frozen or live. All other purchases, a refund will be granted within 30 days, with a receipt, as long as the item is returned in a resellable condition. Items purchased that are not working (thermostats, etc.) will be accepted within 30 days with proof of purchase.
